Shapedoku Sync: Carry Your Progress Across Devices
Shapedoku sync solves a small but real frustration: you build a streak on your phone, open the browser on your laptop, and everything is still there. All you do is sign in, once, and only if you want to.
How Shapedoku sync works
Shapedoku sync keeps your progress attached to your account instead of a single device. You always start as a guest, so you can play immediately with no sign-up and no interruption. When you are ready, an optional sign-in with Google or email links your progress to you, and from then on your XP, level, stats, Daily Challenge streak and settings follow you to any device where you sign in. Nothing about signing in changes the game itself; it just makes your progress portable.
Guest first, always
The game is guest-first on purpose. You are never forced to create an account to play, and you can enjoy the entire game, difficulties, Daily Challenge, challenge modes, hints and notes, without ever signing in. Guest play is the default, and it is complete. Sign-in exists only to add cross-device sync and to let your name appear on the online leaderboards; it is a convenience you opt into, not a wall you have to climb.
- Play instantly as a guest with zero setup.
- Sign in with Google or email only when you want sync.
- Your XP, level, stats and streak travel with your account.
- Leaderboard participation comes along with an optional signed-in identity.
Phone and browser, one profile
Because Shapedoku runs both on Google Play and in a browser at app.shapedoku.com, sync is what makes them feel like one game rather than two. Solve the Daily Challenge on your phone during a commute, then continue leveling up on a desktop browser at home, and your progress is the same on both. The streak you are protecting does not care which screen you used, as long as you are signed in on each.
Works offline, syncs when you return
Shapedoku sync does not require you to be online to play. The game works offline, so you can solve on a plane or in a tunnel and your results are stored locally. When your connection comes back, your progress syncs up automatically. This local-first design means a dropped connection never costs you a solve, an XP gain or a streak day; it simply catches up when it can.
Getting set up
- Play as a guest first to make sure you enjoy it, no account needed.
- Open settings and choose sign in with Google or email when you want sync.
- Sign in with the same account on your other device or in the browser.
- Keep playing; your XP, level, stats and streak stay consistent everywhere.
Shapedoku sync is quiet by design. You barely notice it, which is the point, because the best cross-device systems are the ones you never have to think about. Start as a guest, sign in when it suits you, and play the same Shapedoku everywhere free at app.shapedoku.com or on Google Play.
