First, slow down and read the board

When a level feels impossible, the worst thing you can do is keep making fast, hopeful pours. Stop moving and look. Count how many layers of each color are still scattered, and notice which colors are close to complete and which are badly trapped. Most stuck boards untangle the moment you understand where everything is.

The eight tips

1. Count what you still need. For each color, tally the loose layers and where they sit. The picture alone often reveals the next move.
2. Find the almost finished container. A bottle that is one pour from a single color is nearly always worth completing first.
3. Free up a full container. Emptying a container completely creates working room, and space is what most stuck boards lack.
4. Never bury a color you need. Before a pour, check what you are covering. If it traps a color you must collect later, look for another move.
5. Undo without guilt. Undo is a thinking tool. Step a few moves back to where you still had a free container and try a different order.
6. Protect one empty container. Try to keep at least one container free at all times. The moment your last empty fills without a plan, options vanish.
7. Chase forced moves. Some pours are the only sensible option on the board. Make those first and let them simplify everything else.
8. Use a helper wisely. If a board is genuinely locked, a hint or an extra container can reopen a solvable path. Save them for when you are truly stuck.

When nothing seems to work

If you have tried the checklist and the board still resists, undo all the way back to the start and solve it fresh with the tips in mind. A clean run where you protect empty space and avoid burying colors from move one often succeeds where a patched up board cannot. Solving the same level twice is not a waste. It is how the patterns sink in.

Take a break, then look again

Sometimes the fastest way to solve a puzzle is to stop looking at it. Close the level, do something else for a few minutes, and come back with fresh eyes. A move that was invisible when you were frustrated is often obvious when you are calm.
