What is tredoku?
Tredoku is a 3D isometric Sudoku where the board is drawn as blocks seen at an angle, and the playing surface wraps around the faces of those blocks. Instead of one flat 9 by 9 square, you get several diamond shaped faces that share edges. Lines of nine cells run across faces and appear to bend around corners, following the isometric drawing rather than a simple horizontal or vertical path. Despite the theatrical look, tredoku obeys ordinary Sudoku logic: every straight line of nine cells must contain 1 to 9 once, and every marked region on a face must do the same. The novelty is purely spatial, so nothing changes about the arithmetic of no repeats.
Reading the isometric grid
